A class project for a 360
projecting mapping. For this project 3 projectors were used to project with different random
abstract video content.
Self
Self is an art piece created to express conflicts
of identity.
When we are born an identity,
religion moral, politics are given to us by our parents. For most of our life’s
we are supposed to believe and accept the identity we received by birth without
question it.
However, some of us somewhere in
our lifetime we start to begin on a self-discover journey as we undergo
maturation.
This art piece portrays the pull
and push between identity that one undergoes in finding purpose of life and
true identity. Quarrying into the past where experiences that shaped our
identities can be horrible or amazing. The realization that believes embedded
on one selves are wrong or lies can be very difficult to be detached and
changed.
The Journey it’s not all clear and
happy, it will include fear confusion doubt as we question the who are we it’s
like two persons being pulled apart before the encounter of true self.
To convey our message, we choose
the use of a sculpture contain a body with 2 heads, lights, the use of negative
space texture, sound, color and visual animations.

This projection I use a empty room to convey an idea of what can be done with emty rooms. I use my art paintings to project on the walls .
